Departments
The Department of Pharmaceutics was established in 2008. Teaching, coupled with research, is the primary activity at the Department.

Research scholars and post-graduate students are involved in research and avail the extensive resources available in the Department. Undergraduates are also provided an opportunity to be involved in research.
Within the broad area of design and development of new drug delivery and conventional dosage forms, the major focus areas include

- Preformulation studies
- Formulation and development of conventional dosage forms
- Design and development of new drug delivery systems
- Drug targeting approaches
The Department has experienced and highly qualified staff members who have been exposed to collaboration with national and international universities; institutions and companies.
The Department of Pharmacology was established in 2008.
Major areas of research at the Department are related to diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular system, psychopharmacology, drug delivery system and genotoxicity studies. The Department of Pharmacology is equipped with state-of-the-art equipments. Some of these include:
- Polyrite
- Non-invasive Blood Pressure Recorder
- Auto analyzer
- Computer attached Photomicroscopy, etc.

The Department has experienced and highly qualified staff members who have been exposed to collaboration with national and international universities; institutions and companies.
Established in 2008, the Department of Quality Assurance imparts education to undergraduate and postgraduate students through teaching, research and service activities in analytical development, pharmaceutical quality management, regulatory affairs and validation.

Further, several papers have been published in various journals and presentations have been made by scholars of the Department.
